Dr. Omer Bialer was born in 1977 in Petah-Tikva .
He has finished his mandatory military service and has been on reserve as a military physician for the last
several years.
He attended medical school at the Hebrew University and Hadassah in Jerusalem between 1998 and 2004.
He completed his internship at Soroka Medical Center in Beer-Sheeba in 2006. Dr. Bialer is a licensed physician by the state of Israel since 2007.
He has completed his ophthalmology residency at Rabin Medical Center in Petah-Tikva (2007-2012). During his residency he participated in clinical and laboratory research as well as tutoring medical students and was the chief tutor between 2011 and 2012.
Dr. Bialer is a licensed ophthalmologist by the Israeli Ministry of Health since 2012
Dr. Bialer did a fellowship in Neuro-ophthalmology at Emory University in Atlanta, GA, USA between 2012 and 2013 under the supervision of Dr. Nancy J. Newman and Dr. Valérie Biousse. During his fellowship he has also trained in ophthalmic ultrasound.
Dr. Bialer is currently working as an attending and a neuro-ophthalmologist at the ophthalmology
department at Rabin Medical Center – Beilinson campus in Petah-Tikva. .
